[Vietnam] Vietnamese steamed rice cake

One thing special about Sai Gon is its diverse cuisine as it’s long been a great melting pot. This time I’ll try some Hue’s dishes such as Banh Beo and other. Hue is well-known for its royal dishes which obviously have visually attractive appearance and fine flavor. Turning back time, these were specially made for the royal family but we don’t necessarily have to be the king or queen to taste them now as they’re widely available throughout Vietnam. Let’s head for a small restaurant humbly situated in a valley of Ben Thanh market. In there you can also find other types of broth-based soups such as Banh canh cua (Thick tapioca noodle with crab meat), Hen xuc banh da (Clams with sesame rice crackers), etc. This time I’m going to show you one of my favorites!
Price: VND 150,000 per person
