When I first arrived at Sinpopo Brand, I was pleasantly surprised by their newly revamped look! The cafe used to be a 60s inspired kopitiam (a name for coffee shops in Singapore), but it is now a modern retro cafe. Their new menu offers a good range of food which are inspired by our local cuisines. From sambal fish balls (chilli paste with fish balls) to Babi toast (prawn and pork mince toast) to our very own local delight – Nasi Lemak (coconut rice with assorted dishes), you name it they have it! I was most excited about trying their Nasi Lemak. The presentation was lovely! The rice, or Nasi, came in a bowl with a side of soft boiled egg.
