I went to the Pepper App Challenge, a competition held for different household use application for the robot Pepper.
The event was held to choose who is the winner from the top 10, who were picked out of a total 263 applicants. The winning team was HUG PROJECT and their HUG virtual real communication! Using virtual reality technology and Pepper, they have created a new and innovative communication service! Even if you are not there, pepper becomes your eyes and body! I tried it out at their booth! Everyone was excited about this project! It may not be far in the future when Pepper will be a member of the household! Looking forward to more future developments!
